Well, you're the first one to say that. I'm glad. For what is worth the conversation was enjoyable to me as well, as I remember it. My real name is Kal-Elm and I'm from Krypton.
Not at all, this is what I really look like. I have no idea how Kryptonians came to look exactly like humans, I guess the form must have its evolutionary advantages.
You mentioned you came from G'loot Praktaw? [Which he knows is 'Mars', he already told Clark Kent. But he can't say that.]
My planet died when I was a newborn. I'm- [the only survivor? No, that isn't right anymore.] ...one of the few survivors. I was sent to Earth and raised as a human.
It's fine. [It will never be 100% fine, but he's done all he can to protect what's left of his people now. Things will be alright.
(No they won't Kal you live in a comic book world).]
I know a lot about my culture thanks to some technology my father left behind for me. You told me about yours, so if you wish I could return the favor.
It is, I suppose, compared to Earth. But that actually gives me trouble sometimes: when you're used to dealing with futuristic technology sometimes the simplest gadget is even harder to use.
[Reflexively, Croach opens his mouth to correct him, but stops. In another universe, it may be acceptable to designate G'loot Proktaw as 'Mars', though he cannot truly approve.]
I would be very interested to know about your version of my planet.

Would you happen to remember 'Paladin Kal'?

Something, I'm not sure what took over me and made me act differently than who I really am. And I wanted to apologize for that.

[He is either joking by playing it completely straight, or he's just that earnest. It may be impossible to tell.]

I am not, no. I'm not in need of a party at all. I am really sorry for the inconvenience.

I am gratified to meet you properly, though I am surprised that you resemble Earth humans so strongly. Are you utilizing an alternate form?
[He doesn't care for his own human-esque form, but hey, different strokes for different sentient beings.]

[It is likely more convenient in some ways, though Croach does not find his own glorious body inconvenient.]
That is my home planet. Humans designate it 'Mars'. Though I have briefly visited Earth in the past.

You were really lucky to be able to grow up between your own people.

How was it that you did not?

[Not everything on G'loot Proktaw is more advanced than this version of Earth. But enough is.]

I figured you would. You remind me of a friend I have back home- he's from Mars as well. Or our version of Mars.
